Makeup Revolution is primarily in the make up collection, especially palettes which I think are fabulous. So when I purchased the Redemption Palette Mermaids Vs Unicorns, how could this not have it’s own unique review?
A rainbow of highly pigmented, beautiful shimmer shades. Can be used as a shadow alone or blending with other colours.
Super soft formula so blending is super easy. It also lasts without creasing.
Using a primer before gives more intensity to the shadow, but it also blends out super well.
The palette contains 12 gorgeous colours – Green, blue, purple and black in an array of different shades.
Light green, darker green, almost teal colour, ice blue, light blue, bright blue, dark purple, berry purple, lavender, darker royal blue, dark ice blue and black.
Blue shades do make a fabulous blue eye look, perfect for green eyes.
Transition shade, the 2nd blue shade which is a light blue with loads of pigment. Then using the darker blue (number 10) as the dark shade.
Going over the transition then the brightest blue in the middle and finally in the inner corner popping on the ice blue.
The berry purple shade is the most used colour, I use that as a transition shade often and using berry or copper tones which looks absolutely stunning.
Here we go with swatching!
As you can see from the swatches, they swatch super well. With a brush and eye shadow sponge to swatch and also on my fingers as below.
Such super soft, pigmented shadows that blend super easy and a whole range of looks can be made.
The Unicorns are real palette is absolutely amazing also, with it’s own review here.
Have you tried any of the Makeup Revolution palettes? What do you think of them?
*I purchased these products myself, this is from my personal beauty collection.
