Sleek MakeUp Matte Me Lip Cream

Matte lips are my life. I am obsessed lately with matte lips but sometimes the products are really drying on my lips. So when Sleek MakeUp Matte Me lip cream came along, well I was excited!

I’ve used lip creams before and found they never fully dried or just felt like a thick cream on my lips. It made me wary of using lip creams because of how bad they were previously.

But I just had this feeling that I might enjoy this, so off I went to put it through the paces.

Sleek MakeUp Matte Me Lip Cream

I really like the shape of this product and the lid is representative of all Sleek MakeUp products. Matte black with a glossy Sleek signature.

The applicator is a doe foot shape but is small so helps with perfect precision. I don’t like the chunky ones and I prefer them to be smaller so I can get the shape of my lips especially my Cupid bow.

The colour I received is Bittersweet which is a darker rose, pink colour and is a perfect autumn shade.

I only applied one coat and it was very even and feels creamy. Dry down takes around 3 minutes which is fast in comparison to others.

Sleek MakeUp Matte Me Lip Cream is a very creamy formula with very little scent.

Once dry, it feels very comfortable and does not make my lips look dry either. I found it doesn’t have that strange tightness either.

I have full movement if my lips without feeling awkward and it doesn’t crack either.

It dried down fully matte with no transfer and dried with no patches in sight.

I lick my lips. I know it’s bad. But this did not budge or flake like some do on me.

I ate, no movement. Kissing? No movement and no transfer.

No transfer with drinking but it did make it creamy again but dried quickly once more.

The lasting ability of this product is really good. I went a full day without touching up once and my lips looked normal. They didn’t look or feel dry. There was no uncomfortable feeling and no flaking.

The colour looked the same as when I applied and no patches.

It’s a truly great product and I am desparate to try more colours.

Have you tried the Sleek MakeUp Matte Me Lip Cream? What do you think of the colour?
