But the truth is that life happens, and your car’s interior can suffer and end up looking mucky and feeling uncomfortable, which is a shame when it could be so lovely. Invest In Quality Floor Mats

Let’s start from the ground (or rather floor) up and think about what’s under your feet as you drive – the floor of your car takes a lot of abuse, from muddy shoes to dropped snacks, and a good set of floor mats is a great first line of defense. 

Not only do floor mats protect your car’s carpet, but they’re also easy to remove and clean, so if they do get dirty (and they will), you can deal with the problem quickly and simply and your car will be clean again before you know it. The key is to make sure you get mats that are made for your make and model because then they’ll fit better and your carpets will be safer. 

 

Don’t forget about servicing

The interior of your car should also include what’s under the hood. That’s why servicing your vehicle, whether it’s caravan repairs or replacement car parts, is crucial to keep your vehicle running as efficiently as possible.

Servicing should be done at least once a year to keep on top of every element of the vehicle.

 

Get Your Windows Tinted

How about a tip you might not have thought of? We’re talking about having a window tint installed. Not only does this make your car look great and unique, but it’s also a surprisingly good way to protect your interior from the sun’s UV rays. 

The sun can cause a lot of damage to your seats, dashboard, and other interior surfaces, and they can fade or even crack over time just because they’re exposed to the sun. However, if you tint your windows, you can block out a large amount of these harmful UV rays and keep your interior looking fresh and new. As a bonus, tinting your windows can help to keep your car cool and they’ll also keep you protected from the sun (at least a little), so it’s a great idea no matter how you look at it. 

 

Keep It Smelling Fresh

Although you can do a lot to keep your car looking clean, it’s also a good idea to keep it smelling fresh – your sense of smell is really important, and if your car smells good, you’ll enjoy it more and it will feel a lot better to be in it. 

The great news is that it’s so easy to make your car smell good, and all you need is an air freshener which you can pick up in any gas station or car store or even online. If you’d rather use something natural, that’s easy too; just put a small (open) box of baking soda under your seat and it’ll magically (well, scientifically) absorb any odors in the car, making it a much more pleasant space to spend time in.
