Celebrating All ‘Mother Figures’ This Mothers Day With Moonpig
I have precious maternal figures in my life, my Mum and my Grandma. Both have brought me up and I am very grateful for everything they have done for me, so this year I wanted to celebrate Mothers Day with Moonpig and tell you why they are special to me and also share some delightful gifts that I received from Moonpig so you can check out the flowers and gifts, as well as a few beautiful cards!
Your motherly figure doesn’t have to be a parent, it can be anyone in your life who you respect, love and adore. For me, that is my Mum and my Grandma (My Mums Mum) who have both been figures in my life I respect, look up to and cherish. Not to mention, my Mum in law who has been in my life for almost 9 years now.
It can be hard for some on Mothers day, and I completely get it. It’s the same for me for Fathers day where I celebrate by sharing my love for my Grandad.
I wanted to go over some fabulous present ideas and also discuss why I love both the figures in my life and why I love to spoil them on Mothers Day.

My Mum
My Mum is a wonderful woman, I am very grateful to have her in my life. When things have been tough, she has always been there for me. Not only me, but she also helped me raise my 2 older sons at a time where I was very young and very vulnerable.
She showed me that no matter what happens, what is close to you right now is all that matters. A pillar of strength and always thinking of ways to help me overcome my issues.
When I had difficult times, like with doctors, for example, she is always there for me and supporting me. Calling them or coming to appointments when I am not getting the right help. My Mum is my very own cheerleader, confidant and enables me to do the things I want to do.
My Grandma
My Grandma has done a lot for me, she helped me become the woman I am today. Hard-working, strong and courageous. Able to go through any event and come through the other side.
Her love for me and my sons is so strong, she is a very strong motherly figure in their life, as much as me and my Mum.
I learnt a lot from my Grandma, self-respect and also doing the things that make you happy and bring you the life you want. My hard-working nature comes from my Grandma.
Now For The Gift Ideas!
Don’t worry, they won’t see this so their surprises will not be spoiled. These gifts are for all the women in my life, including my Mother in Law too. We have a close family, me and my partner and I always love to get thoughtful gifts for them all.
When I am buying gifts, I get really excited and tend to use Moonpig to get my cards and gitfs, this is a great way to find wonderful things I know my family will like.
I have a few ideas below of things you can get, don’t just take my word for it, check out Moonpig yourself!
So, firstly we have beautiful tulips.
Tulips are one of the first flowers you think of when you think of spring and Mothers Day. They are bright, welcoming and they give me a lot of positive thoughts. So when I look for flowers for loved ones, I do tend to be drawn by big, beautiful and colourful blooms.
They are the classic symbol of love, as they tend to start growing around spring, it’s the perfect flower to share with a loved one.
Why not send your loved one some beautiful Mothers Day Flowers this year

Final Thoughts
Whatever you deiced to do this Mothers Day, think about something you could give someone that has meaning. It doesn’t have to be your Mum, but it can be your friend, someone who has been there for you when you really need them and someone you know would enjoy a wonderful gift.
This year, I have a few women I am treating and I can’t wait to see the excitement on their faces when they see the gifts I have for them.
Sometimes, it is nice to give something back to someone. But I am also making a donation this year as I do every year to a cancer charity of my choice. Keep an eye out on my social media soon!
What are your plans for Mothers Day?
