Neal’s Yard Remedies Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture
I’m very holistic and I love natural brands, so I had to buy the Neal’s Yard Remedies Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture and put it to the test. When I consider brands and even skincare, the first thing I look for is natural and essential oils. There is just something about the scent of great quality essential oils in a skincare product.
Neal’s Yard uses aromatherapy and essential oils in their beauty products so of course, this was the brand for me to try.
Having dry skin too meant that I needed something to give my skin some hydration. This seemed like the perfect item to buy and try!
Reviewing the Neal’s Yard Remedies Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture
About the brand
Neal’s Yard Remedies is a brand that I have admired for the longest time. With me being holistic, I prefer brands that use essential oils and the flowers powers in healing or caring for the part of your body you need help with.
From reducing stress to hydrating your skin, there is an essential oil that helps and I find it incredible that they are using this to help.
They have created some wonderful books also!
You will see I have reviewed quite a few items like the Geranium and Orange Body Butter which was my favourite!
Packaging – Neal’s Yard Remedies Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture
I adore the packaging with Neal’s Yard as they use blue bottles which help protect your products from the harsh rays of the sun which can actually damage the product and make it less effective, or go ‘off’.
With the products being natural and made with essential oils, this is very important.
You can either get it in a squeezy bottle, or the pump bottle. The quantity will vary based on which one you get.
Neal’s Yard really took some care into thinking about what packaging will keep their precious products safe.
The bottles are all blue in colour and it’s something that can make you quickly see a bottle and go, that is Neal’s Yard! It’s their thing. And rightly so! They have good reasons for using blue.
Review of the product
I found both the squeezy bottle and the pump bottle just as easy as the other and both can dispense the right amount of product at ease.
Thickness of this moisturiser is good, but not too thick that it clogs your pores or becomes cloying.
Sinking in and absorbing within a few minutes, you don’t have to hang around for ages. You can then just apply makeup over it.
I’d actually found that I could use this as a primer as my makeup stayed put all day. No sliding around with this moisturiser!
After a week of use, my skin was so soft, redness was less and found that my skin was just looking loads better.
I have terrible dry patches and coupled with plenty of water and a good facial oil from Neal’s Yard. My skin was looking it’s optimal best!
Scent wise, it’s like a fresh cut rose. Not the fake rose scent a lot of products smell like, but proper, fresh roses! It also makes you feel calm and relaxed when massaging into your skin.
I use this every time I have really dry skin as within a few days, my skin is nourished, caressed and loved.
I’d recommend this, along with the whole Rose range! They are gorgeously scented and perfect to be calm with!
