Lippygirl Vegocentric Vegan Lipstick – Review

I do like using vegan products and have been trying to extend my vegan lipstick collection recently to replace other brands.

A Lippygirl vegan lipstick was sent to me to try and see how I got on, so below is my thoughts.

Vegan lipstick is intriguing for me as it uses different types of ingredients and has a completely different formula from other brands I have that are not vegan.

I am not vegan myself, but I do try to use cruelty free products, most of my skincare is natural.
I find it’s better for my skin and do not get irritation, soreness or redness from it.

Of course, I couldn’t wait to try a vegan lipstick.

The colour I received is called Goddess.

Lippygirl Vegocentric Vegan Lipstick

Packaging for this is really cute, it’s a light pink cardboard box that can be recycled (Of course)

Inside is a plain black tube that is metal, so it has some weight to it.
It has the Lippygirl logo on also.

It’s a twist up tube and has the wonderful lipstick in all it’s glory.

The colour I received is purple, which I am loving at the moment.
Purple colours are totally for me.

Ingredient list for this vegan lipstick is interesting. It has shea butter in which will keep your lips soft and it’s all certified ingredients.

I was not sure what I would think about this lipstick, how pigmented it would be.

It’s easy to apply but I will say make sure you give your lips a good scrub before.
I found the product clung to any dryness so be aware that lips need a good scrub and nourish beforehand.

It’s not a full coverage lipstick, it’s more like a dark tinted balm. But it is really nourishing.
My lips were so soft with use.

The product stayed on my lips for a couple of hours, but needed to reapply.
There was some transfer when I drank, but I have this with most lipsticks unless it’s a matte formula.

It gives a nice subtle purple sheen to my lips, it wasn’t thick or uncomfortable. None of that loaded feeling I get with lipsticks.

It’s really pretty and think it’s a nice, subtle lip colour.
