Herbfarmacy Skincare – Review

Natural skincare is creeping it’s way back into my collection and especially during winter, my skin can be a right pain so along came Herbfarmacy and a saviour to my dry, tired, dull skin.

The 3 products I received are staple skincare and will be reviewed separately, I got the Marshmallow and Vanilla Lip Conditioner, Refining Exfoliator and the Mallow Beauty Balm.

Now I have been using the Mallow Beauty Balm for a few years now, however the packaging has changed. I liked the old packaging, but I love the new packaging even more.

The product is still the same, smells the same and works just as well.

A thing you should know about Herbfarmacy is the ingredients are home grown. I mean, how many brands can say they grow their own organic plants? Not many!
This is what makes this company stand out.

Hand sowing, nurturing little seedlings to hand picking the plants. It’s totally natural and home grown baby.

For me, this makes a company even more appealing knowing the plants were loved, right through until becoming a staple product in my collection and loved by me.

The entire range is amazing, using the staple Marshmallow and adding vanilla, calendula and even comfrey.

This brand guys, is something else!

So let’s crack on with the products!

Herbfarmacy Lip Conditioner

One thing I have masses of, is lip balms. Now I do prefer natural lip balms as I find ones laden with chemicals can make my lips worse.

The lip conditioner is a new product for me and vanilla? Well everyone knows I am mad about vanilla.

The size is a generous 6ml, in quite a chunky stick. It’s easy to hold, easy to roll up and fits in my cosmetic organiser as well as hand bag, of course!

Showcasing a lovely faint smell of vanilla which I absolutely adore.

Marshmallow and vanilla oil make up this wonderful balm, smoothly applying to the lips. It glides on like a dream.
It’s such a soft texture and does not drag across my lips.

Another thing I really like about this lip balm is the texture. It’s not oily, it’s not thick. It feels super lightweight on my lips and can be used sparingly under matte lip products without making them run or tacky which lip balms can do.
Creating a fantastic barrier that keeps lips nourished and dry all day. Well we all know matte lip products are very drying.

Straight away I have instant relief from dryness, my lips are so soft. Any dry skin is nourished and no longer hard, something that annoys me.

I leave this balm on for a good 30 mins then use a scrub on my lips and the dead skin comes straight off with no fuss.
Normally I have issues removing the dead skin from my lips, however this balm softens it so much, it comes right off.

My lips usually look dehydrated, this isn’t because of lack of water. I just have awful lips at times.
Instantly my lips look less ridgy, smooth and so soft. It is unbelievable as I never had such a fabulous balm that works so well and so fast.

The price of this lip balm is amazing, it’s not expensive at all and will last a long time. Herbfarmacy made one heck of a lip product.

Refining Exfoliator

One thing I lack in my skincare collection is natural exfoliators. I have recently stopped using ones with manufactured beads due to them causing problems with waste water.

Trying the refining exfoliator was of course what I needed to do.

Again, I love the green packaging with a brown paper type banner with leaves. It looks so cute.
Packaged in a Gorgeously printed box, brown and purple and then the gorgeous green tube inside.
Even inside the box is white with pinky purple leaves printed inside. Herbfarmacy killed packaging, it’s amazing.

If you have ever had a whiff of natural marshmallow, you will know exactly what this product smells like.
Sweetness of the marshmallow crossed with natural floral scent and a gorgeous apricot undertone. It’s delicious.

A rather thick cream laden with jojoba beads, the beads are quite small and grainy but is not harsh on my skin.
Really good with removing dead skin from my face however is gentle at the same time.

A very nourishing cream and at the same time it softens my skin to make any dead skin easier to remove.

I found I could use this alone as a cleanser/exfoliator as it really did cleanse my skin at the same time. No need for a cleanser after.

I can’t get over how beautiful this scent is also, it smells amazing.

I found at first I used the exfoliator twice a week then went down to once a week which was enough to keep the dead skin and dryness at bay.

A fabulous exfoliator and will be using this again. Bravo Herbfarmacy.

Herbfarmacy Mallow Beauty Balm

Now I have been using the mallow beauty balm for a few years now, I first got this in a beauty box which was a natural one. Since then I fell in love and couldn’t use anything but this.

Packaging is a lovely frosted, green glass jar that protects the product from daylight. A change from the previous brown glass jar.
Again the box is brown and pinky purple, with gorgeous leaf print around and inside.

Okay I admit, it’s a cleanser however I also use this at night as a nourishing mask to keep my skin super hydrated and nourished.

A very stunning scent, you can detect the subtle mallow again, sweet and sugary then a blast of natural herbs and flowers. It’s just, the best.

As a cleanser, this is super easy to apply. It’s a solid product then melts once warm. Super easy to apply to the face, I leave it on for a few minutes then using a hot cloth, I wipe it away.

There is no product left on my skin, but my skin is super soft and nourished.

I also used this on heavy and light make up. Light make up came off straight away, whereas heavier makeup I had to apply twice to ensure every bit was off.
Even fabulous at removing the most stubborn liner and mascara, I left this on for a good 10 minutes to soak in, then wiped away.

Every part came off, job done Herbfarmacy.

Okay now I know it’s a cleanser, using this as a treatment mask for nourishment has been the main reason I love this product.

Using a toner (natural of course) then pop a good thick layer on my skin.
By morning, my skin has never been so hydrated. I wouldn’t even need to use a moisturiser as wow, this is just, wow.

Super hydrating, my skin has never looked better!

Using a small amount under a moisturiser, this acts as a barrier to stop my skin drying out.
This really is a multi-purpose product, not just a cleanser.

Again Herbfarmacy killed cleansing balms.

Final Thoughts

All 3 products smell, look and feel so super amazing. I am a massive fan of the Herbfarmacy beauty balm already, but now I am an even bigger fan with the gorgeous new packaging.

The lip conditioner is a product I will 100% be repurchasing and of course the exfoliator as I don’t have many natural ones.

Beauty balm will never be replaced, but my current lip products and exfoliator will be.

Have you tried the Herbfarmacy range before? What do you think of the products?
