The Delightful Burt’s Bees Lip Balm Review

I’m obsessed with lip balm, I have easily over 100 different lip balms around my home, office and bags. I use them every day so I wanted to go a general Burt’s Bees Lip Balm Review and talk about how I find them overall and share some favourites!

I’ll also link the reviews for specific flavours throughout the post!

You will find I do review a lot of lip balms like my EOS Lip Balm Review or Vaseline to Nivea. Even Bee Good which have some lovely lip balms that are a thinner consistency.

One thing I hate about my body is how dry my lips are. At least once a week, I am peeling skin off my lips if I am not looking after them properly. This is why I have literally 100’s of lip balms, lip scrubs and many products for my lips.

I’ve got high end like Nuxe to the cheaper Vaseline tins. Then natural in between. So each lip product I have is great in it’s own special way.

Now, getting into the Burt’s Bees Lip Balm Review in general.

Burt’s Bees Lip Balm Review – About The Balms

Burt’s Bees has a very wide range of lip balms and tints. As time has gone on, the original lip balm has gone from honey and mint to pomegranate, vanilla and even cucumber mint which I love.

I have most of the range and every time I see a new one, I buy it. Throughout the post, I am going to be linking ones I have reviewed on their own.

They are natural lip balms made from beeswax and other natural products to give you a glorious lip balm for you and your whole family. When I created this Burt’s Bees Lip Balm Review, I wanted to point out how you can use them on all the family. With flavours fit for the kids like strawberry, to cucumber mint for the adults.

I purchase the flavours such as Strawberry for the kids and they enjoy them, but they also protect and moisturise their lips at the same time.

You can purchase these as gifts too as they do a range of wonderful gift packages from glass jars with a few, to a set of 4 or so lip balms. I tend to purchase these as they tend to be cheaper overall.

Over time, the range also includes tinted lip balms which are wonderful and have a range of shades.

With my Burt’s Bees Lip Balm Review, I really wanted to highlight how these are perfect little gifts and stocking fillers for friends and family. No one can be mad at a lip balm, can they?

They are just standard lip balm packaging, which I like as these can be stored and transported very easily. I have them in every bag I own, as well as drawers, bedrooms, living room and anywhere I have a drawer.

You never know when you need the lip balm.

They’re made out of plastic and have an easy to pop off lid and the device twists up to reveal the lip balm and can then be lowered down once used.

Easy to use and not really much else to say about the packaging of the actual Burt’s Bees lip balm.

Now, they do have some exciting packaging for gifts, such as jars, tins and just cardboard packaging.

I’ve kept all of my packagings from Burt’s Bees and used the Balm Jar for my lip balms and my tin holds some scented salts.

The shimmer balms are thinner and tinted balms are the same as the standard lip balm.

Now for the review of Burt’s Bees Lip Balm!

I don’t even know which one to start with as I love them all! If I had to choose a favourite, I think it would be either Vanilla Bean, Coconut Pear or Cucumber Mint. But then I love the Pomegranate, Beeswax, Strawberry, Honey, Ultra Conditioning and all of them! I have every flavour they have released in the UK.

They all tend to have a pretty similar formula apart from the Beeswax with peppermint which is thicker and the Coconut Pear which is thinner. Now by thicker and thinner, I mean the consistency left on your lips after use. The Burt’s Bees Beeswax lip balm leaves a very thick film where the Coconut Pear melts really quickly and doesn’t leave much residue on your lips.

The Beeswax version from Burt’s Bees leaves a tingle on your lips whilst none of the other lip balms do. This could irritate some people if you are sensitive to peppermint.

Each and every Burt’s Bees lip balm is wonderful and as I find new flavours, my collection grows even more.

Every Burt’s Bees Lip Balm has left my lips soft, supple and really helped with the dryness. Combined with a good lip scrub, my lips look and feel much better than they have.

I’ve noticed over the years that with regular use, my lips no longer peel and I am finding it easier to wear drying lip products like liquid or matte lipsticks.

Each one is slightly different and the scents are so delightful.
