I’ve been collecting the ‘A Twisted Tale’ series and absolutely love them. I wanted to do a review on Unbirthday – A Twisted Tale by Liz Braswell. I am also doing a giveaway so one of my followers can win themselves a copy!

I love the Disney classics as it is so to see the different adaptations of them, the darker side of the classics is absolutely amazing and I am going to be reviewing the entire collection so far! But firstly, I wanted to do a giveaway so one of my readers are able to win themselves a copy!

I really enjoy dark books and this is certainly that. I would say this is the equivalent of the Point Horror books from my teenage years, teenagers are bound to love this.
If you are a fan of the Disney classics, then ‘A Twisted Tale’ series of books are certainly worth a read.
Unbirthday – A twisted Tale by Liz Braswell is a brilliantly written book with a different outlook on Alice in Wonderland. What would happen if Alice was late? What if the circumstances were different? Well, this book certainly gives you an entirely different outcome.
As you read through this wonderful remake of a classic, you are transported to a dark, wonderful place where you are chasing things in a totally different fashion.
How you imagine Alice In Wonderland to be, this book very different. As Alice is taking photographs, the images are changing. This is going to give you a completely different story and outcome, but with the familiar elements of the classic. Even down to the image of herself, it makes you wonder what is happening here!
Even the ending is a different outcome, something you would never expect! As Alice embarks on her mission to save the nonsense world, she ends up trying to save both worlds!
I do highly recommend this particular remake, it’s fantastically written and one of my favourites!
