The Accounting Blues
I have accounting blues, I hate this time of year. Faffing around to get everything sorted for tax returns.
Being self employed is a headache.
Even if you hire your own accountant, keeping everything in one place is a nightmare.
Having to keep receipts (Has anyone noticed most are digital now?) and keeping a track of incomings and outgoing can be a pain.
I’ve tried notebooks, spreadsheets and I get lost, lose things or just confuse myself.
I ended up with a billion spreadsheets and couldn’t work anything out.
Having an accountant is something I need, but I need simplicity.
One thing about me is I am forgetful. I forget a lot of important things. I lose things too.
The joys of Fibromyalgia.
When you think of accounting, you think of the old fashioned way.
You think of masses of papers and writing a lot of things out…
But there is change!
There is now online accounting.
Working on a cloud based platform, all of your accounting needs are all in one place.
Easily accessible, so long as the accountant uses an online service.
I have been looking into this and invested some time to an online accountant where everything is kept in one place.
Without the worry of my computer, laptop or hard drive failing and then I am deep in the doodoo.
I have to keep remembering to transfer over the new spreadsheets at the moment, but with a cloud based, I can access anywhere, any time and do what I need to do with ease.
This takes one stress away from my life which I need right now.
I am aiming for a less stressful life that I can just do everything in my life with ease.
This being one of them.
Have you considered an accountant or even an online accountant?
Would this be something you find stress free?
