My skin changes throughout the year. In winter, I tend to have drier skin and I am prone to blemishes all year round. I got the chance to try a new serum targeting dryness, blemishes and the iS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum is also great for any skin type and unisex. So I wanted to get into the iS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum Review and share my thoughts on this product.

iS Clinical is a new brand for me, their range seems to be targeted to a very wide audience. I was quite impressed that the products are unisex and can be used for a multitude of reasons. My skin is a combination and changes throughout the year. So to have skincare that I can use all year round is amazing.

95-98% of the ingredients are botanical, this really speaks to me as I do enjoy using products that contain plant extracts or formulated to cover a wide range of skin concerns and needs.

The perfect serum to hydrate, smooth and rejuvenate the skin. This also works on blemishes and help cool them down as well as nourishing and moisturising my skin. It helps soothe dry and irritated skin, cools, calms and hydrates the skin.

The Hydra-Cool serum is perfect for any skin type and it is also unisex so anyone can use this. Has a soothing menthol scent to it and actively works on blemishes, calming and reducing inflammation.

iS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum – Packaging

I really love the packaging, this comes in a metallic blue cardboard box. Inside, safely nestled in the packaging is the bottle of Hydra-Cool serum. Sleek, metallic and blue. What more could you ask for?

The product comes in a glass bottle with a little black screw-top lid on. Then there is a pipette inside that screws on too. So you have complete control over the amount you are dispensing each time. This is a really great way to get enough and not use too much of the product.

The first thing I noticed is the menthol scent to it, which gives you a cooling feel on your skin. There is a light blue hue to the serum too and it is very light and thin. Within seconds it has melted into the skin.

You really can feel the cooling sensation on your skin when you apply, but it doesn’t last very long. Straight away it sinks into the skin and does not leave a film on your skin. I’m really impressed with the absorption of the hydra-cool serum.

I wanted to touch upon what I think of the formula in my iS Clinical hydra-cool serum review. Personally, I think it is a really good formula and on the first appearance, it seems to do what it says on the bottle.

Within 10 minutes of using this product, my angry and inflamed blemish was not as painful and the redness had actually gone down slightly. The next morning, it was not as inflamed and red. Usually, I have these for around 2 weeks, silent spots as I call them. They never turn into a spot and just go down after a couple of weeks. However, when using the serum, it went within 4 days.

I’m really impressed with how the serum works, especially on my blemishes. The menthol in it really cools down the inflammation and makes them more comfortable. Reducing redness within a few hours too.

I was very surprised by how nourished and moisturised my skin is after using the serum. Usually, a blemish serum can be really drying but this one is not. I have clearer skin and feels and looks fantastic!

After a month of use, my skin is more hydrated, blemishes are less abundant and they are not as red and angry as usual if any do appear. My skin feels smoother, looks great and overall, I am really impressed with the serum!

I’m really impressed with the iS Clinical Hydra-cool serum and how cooling it is on my skin. This is the perfect summer skincare or when your skin is irritated or blemish-prone. Cooling, hydrating and super soothing!
