We are having a very quiet Christmas. I run a small business and we are not going to survive for much longer if the situation stays as it does. for the first time in my life I am becoming very interested in politics and how our politicians don’t seem to understand how ordinary people live. The point I am making is that although it will be quiet this Christmas, we plan to roar with life in the new year either by getting our business up and running again or becoming politically active in response to the dire consequences of perpetual lock-down upon the economy.
Nilza B

We went for a long walk at Freiston Shore along the Seabank of The Wash. So peaceful even though there were hundreds of birds feeding on the wetlands. The sun was shining and for once in this wild and wonderful place there was very little wind. Before we left we ate a delicious Christmas dinner picnic in the car (didn’t risk the picnic table over Covid fears) The only washing up involved was the flask when we got home. A lovely day apart from the fact we were unable to spend it with our grandchildren. Missing them so much.

So peaceful, even the hundreds of birds on the wetlands of the RSPB were quiet! Finished up with a Christmas dinner picnic full of Lincolnshire delicacies. Only washing up…..a flask, 2 cups and a teaspoon! Stress free Christmas…………apart from the ache in our hearts from not being to meet up with our grandchilden! You can’t hug on Skype
