Bakerdays Cake Review & Giveaway
When you have something important coming up and you need a cake as soon as possible, something personalised then why not have a look at Bakerdays?
They have an amazing range of personalised cakes for all occasions.
So in honour of this, I am holding a little giveaway.
It’s coming up to Fathers Day and I know I would like something a bit special this year. It’s my partners first proper Fathers Day with Baby T knowing something is going on.
When Bakerdays contacted me to try one of their fabulous cakes, how could I say no?
I gave them a picture and off they went to bake us a very special cake!
2 days later I had a knock at the door, my cake had arrived. (My postman doesn’t pop any parcel through letterbox as he knows I am always in)
It would have fit through my letterbox, yes, I gave it a try!
So I ripped open the box and there was a beautiful tin, I was delighted!
In the box too was a little bag with a candle and a few balloons as well as a little card inside.
It is so adorable and the balloons and candles are a great addition, I always seem to forget a candle!!
I opened the tin and inside was a gorgeous cake wrapped up and even has a little tab to pull the cake out to stop ruining the cake or the tin.
Oh the smell is outstanding, I was drooling as I was admiring the beautiful cake.
It’s vanilla and chocolate, more so vanilla. It smells lush!
The cake is on a board so you can slice easily enough.
The quality of the picture on the cake is amazing, it even has a cute decorative stars and spots around the sides which are blended in to make the cake look even more fabulous.
We chose the chocolate chip cake because it’s a household favourite and everyone will eat it no problem.
The cake it’self is delightful, It’s a really moist chocolate cake with really soft chips in that make it slightly gooey in the mouth, it just melts!
I have to say this is the best cake I have ever had, honestly. Store bought cakes can be dry but this is far from it.
The icing is so soft and again melts in your mouth as you eat it so it was perfect for even my little man.
The icing tasted lovely, it is nothing like icing I have ever tasted, it’s so vanillery and oh, heavenly.
It’s not sickly either, I could have easily demolished half of the cake, but we had to share.
This cake keeps for up to 14 days, it lasted 4 in this house but even on day 4 it was just as moist as the day we opened it.
Just to show you how much it was loved…
So to celebrate such a beautiful cake, I am hosting a giveaway below using Rafflecopter.
There is only 1 mandatory entry and that is a comment telling me your favourite cake.
You can also get additional entries by following A Testing Time Blog and Bakerdays on Twitter, Check them out on Facebook and also follow me on BlogLovin’.
Good luck!
