Aveeno Moisturising Cream

How I came by the Aveeno range was through Boots especially the Aveeno Moisturising Cream. One of my children had broken out in red dry patches from using a branded product (Pictures below) and a trip to the doctors was very unsuccessful.

On my regular Boots trip for baby items, I thought I would pop in and use the “Ask a pharmacist” service.

So off I went, asking the lovely lady at the till, 2 minutes later along comes a pharmacist.

I explained what had happened, what I had tried and how long for then proceeded to show her his skin.

Straight away she told me “I have the perfect product, wait a moment” walked off and came back with Aveeno moisturising cream.
She explained it is used for dry and sensitive skin and has oatmeal in.

Paid for the product and off I went, cream in hand ready to cover my little dude after his bath.

The review:

The bottle I was given was the 100ml bottle, perfect size to test on my little one. Aveeno Moisturising Cream

It comes in a cream squeezy bottle for 100ml and very easy to dispense product even when hands are full of cream to add more.

There is the faintest hint of a scent, just smells a little creamy. Aveeno Moisturising Cream is like a natural cream with no added scents.

The look of the actual cream is white but very slightly opaque.

The cream actually does not feel thick at all, it’s very easy to apply to the skin and massages in very well, absorbing straight away so there is no residue left on the skin after a few minutes, perfect for a cream!

After first application of Aveeno Moisturising Cream, an hour later the redness had gone down quite rapidly and his skin felt much softer than before and his skin did not feel as dry.
I was amazed at the difference after one application.

Now by day 3, the redness had completely gone, his skin was really soft and the dryness had completely gone.
Not a patch on his whole body, well, I felt elated I had finally found a cream that worked!

I have been using this cream every day since and the redness has not come back at all.

His skin is so soft, moisturised and actually looks better than mine!

I have used it on my elbows and knees which are very rough and after a week of continual use, they are soft and no longer dry.

I have to say, this has to be THE BEST moisturiser I have ever come across in my life.
