Ahava Purifying Dead Sea Minerals Face Mask

I love a good face mask so when I was approached to try the Ahava Purifying Dead Sea Minerals Face Mask, I was very exicted.

I could not wait for it to arrive and slap it on my face!

My skin is quite dry so when looking for a face mask, I have to make sure it does not dry my skin any more than it does.

It has to be good at reducing spots and cleansing my skin well as yes, I am very prone to spots.

When the face mask arrived, I opened it up and was in awe at the beautiful packaging.

It’s very basic and well made, the tube itself is matte, looks clean and well thought out.
It’s eye catching and I really like the simplicity of it.

Let’s get down to the best part, the actual mask.

So it’s a light brown/grey colour and has no fragrance to it, which I really like. It smells natural, like clay. So I can assume there is no fragrance added to this which for me is great as it can irritate my skin.

I applied to my skin and it felt really nice. Did not tingle, in fact it felt really calming and soothing.

I left it on and could feel the mask tighten on my skin but it was not uncomfortable at all, in fact it felt really pleasant.

Rising off was easy, it turned milky and has really small particles so you can exfoliate the skin at the same time, this is a bonus for me as masks can penetrate those dry areas as make them easier to lift off with exfoliation.

My skin looked great after rinsing. Redness had near enough gone which is something I find hard doing.
Lucky me, I have redness prone skin especially on cheeks.
But I was amazed my skin looked the same colour all over, a nice shade of pale.

Any spots I had reduced in size and were no longer bright red, they looked soothed and did not hurt anymore. I get those awful red painful ones that are annoying. Relief was sought!

I used this once a week and could see a massive difference on my skin just from regular use.

Dryness has gone, spots no longer pop up and my skin looks refreshed, revitalised and redness free.

I must say, it is a very good mask and has to the one of the best I have ever used.
