Mayraki Professional Hair Care – Natural Hair Products

I’m always looking to use new hair products and Mayraki Professional Hair Care approached me to give a few of their natural hair products a go. I mean, how can I say no? I was sent a wonderful selection of products and I put them to the test, giving a fair assessment of how I found them and how they performed.

About Mayraki Professional Hair Care

Mayraki Professional Hair Care is a haircare brand created by hair professionals, herbalists, and chemists. They created a line of hair products to help with scalp issues such as hair loss, grey/white hair, split ends, itchy scalp and dry and flaky scalp.

The products are silicone, paraben and SLS free and contain naturally derived ingredients.

They are created to be environmentally sustainable, promoting natural hair growth using the latest technology and produced with natural ingredients.

Ultra-repairing & Weightless Moisture Shampoo

The Mayraki Professional Hair Care Ultra-repairing & Weightless Moisture Shampoo is a thick, clear shampoo with a beautiful herbal, fresh scent that stays in your hair for a few days. The scent is beautiful, it is really calming and smells like a high-end perfume with the crisp, fresh scent and the herbs coming through in a very beautiful way.

It contains Ginkgo biloba, aloe, Sapindus Mukorpssi Peel Extract and Canarium album raeusch extract.

Now, the packaging is a cardboard box and inside is a large bottle with a pump lid. One pump dispenses enough product to wash my hair with and I do wash my hair twice. I always have done. You can use it once and it will wash your hair and get out all the oils, dirt and give you a lovely, clean scalp.

I dried my hair after just using the shampoo on its own and my hair wasn’t dry, in fact, it was very glossy and smooth. There were a few flyaway hairs, but I always get that whatever I use.

After 2 weeks of use, I noticed the ends of my hair were looking less dry and my roots were less greasy and could go 2 more days without washing.

My hair is always nice and glossy after washing and the condition of my hair looks so much better than it has for a very long time.

I have a dry scalp and sometimes have flakes, but after using this consistently, my scalp is nourished, no longer dry and itchy and there are no flakes in sight. It really has worked well for my hair and my scalp feels nourished and no longer tight.

Silky Smooth Proactive Hair Repairing Treatment

The Mayraki Professional Hair Care Silky Smooth Proactive Hair Repairing Treatment comes in the same packaging as the shampoo, it’s a cardboard box and inside is a large bottle with a pump. The pump also has a lid on it too which helps stop you from accidentally losing product by pressing it down by accident.

Again, this has the same scent as the shampoo, it’s a gorgeous fresh, herb scent that reminds me of a high-end perfume that I love. With a herb and crisp scent.

The consistency is a thick gel and one pump is enough to cover your entire hair as needed.

Included in the ingredients are collagen, Ginkgo biloba, Aloe Barbadensis Extract, Rosa Rugosa Flower Extract and macadamia extract.

Application is really easy, you massage into your hair and wrap in a hot towel for 20 minutes, then rinse it out. I used a hairdryer to keep it warm over the 20 minutes to make sure it worked very well.

I then dried it with a hairdryer and also the second time I used it, I left it to dry naturally. Most of the time I leave my hair to dry naturally so I wanted to see the results of both drying naturally and with a hairdryer.

When I use a hairdryer, I usually get a lot of flyaway hair, which is why I tend to let my hair dry naturally. It’s very fine and flyaway. But after using this, my hair was sleek, smooth and there was barely any flyaway hairs. My hair looked fantastic!

Then the second time I left my hair to dry naturally and it dried very much like I had done it with a hairdryer. It was sleeker and smoother than when I leave it to naturally dry.

Again, no flyaway hairs, which is normal anyway for my hair when dried naturally.

I didn’t need to use hair oil after use and was very happy with how my hair looked.

Hair Growth & Anti Hairloss Shampoo Kit

I have patches where my hair is thinner and you can see my scalp, but also there are parts of my hair with substantial hairloss like the sides of my hair. Overall, my hair is obviously low in volume and it’s very noticable.

When I came across the Mayraki Professional Hair Care Hair Growth & Anti Hairloss Shampoo Kit, I was elated as it was right up my street and just what I needed.

I will talk about both products separately, but now I will talk about the kit overall.

The kit includes 2x 300ml bottles, one of Anti Hairloss and hair growth shampoo and Scalp purifying and anti-ageing scalp cleanser.

I am going to get into the products and how they made a difference to my hair.

Scalp Purifying and Anti-ageing Scalp Cleanser

This comes in a large 300ml bottle with a pump and also a plastic cover to stop the product from dispensing out of the pump.

It contains castor seed oil extract, as well as Artemisia Argyi Extract and Almond Oil.

It’s dark in colour, reminds me of the colour of coal tar shampoo. Has a little scent, but not a lot. Smells like brown sugar and a slight herbal scent to it. Very thick so you only need a small amount to apply to your scalp.

You use this first to cleanse the scalp.

It foams up nicely and really cleanses the scalp well. I only used this once per wash and really gave my scalp a good scrub with my fingers. This helps to boost the blood flow and make the product work better.

Anti Hairloss and Hair Growth Shampoo

Again, this product came in a 300ml pump bottle with a plastic protector to stop the dispensation of the product.

The colour of the product is light brown and looked more like a cream, less thick than the other one.

Includes Castor seed oil extract, Artemisia Argyi Extract, Commiphora Erythreae oil, Sunflower extract, Olea Europaea oil and Almond oil.

Has the same scent as the other product, brown sugar and a faint herbal scent too.

Cleanses all of my hair really well and looks lush and smooth after use.

Review of Hair Growth & Anti Hairloss Shampoo Kit

After the first use of both together, my hair looked lovely, no flyaways and was glossy and smooth. As I continue to use this product, my hair looked really beautiful at the roots and was looking less thin.

After a month, I noticed a little change in the volume of my hair, it was looking thicker and I couldn’t believe it worked. I’ve used castor oil before which has helped me thicken my hair.

The areas that are thinning, such as my parting and the sides were beginning to look less sparse and seemed there was new hair growth in the areas I was lacking.

After 2 months of use, my hair was thicker, fuller and looking less limp.

Both of these products really made my hair look much thicker and my hair has volume, the days of looking so limp are gone!

Final Thoughts

Overall, I am really happy with how thicker my hair looks and all 4 of the products really made a difference to my hair.

Whether it was the thickening with the hair loss kit, or cleansing and smoothing with the other products, the difference it has made to my hair is amazing! I have lovely, nourished hair that is smooth, silky and looks glossy.
