There are so many types of gaming every gamer should know. From puzzles to role playing games. With a vast amount of games out there and more coming out regularly, I thought it would be a good idea to discuss different types of gaming available.
This is not an exhaustive list, there are many more, but these are the most popular.

First Person Shooters (FPS)
Games such as Call of Duty and Halo are great examples of ‘First Person Shooter’ type games. You see the world on the game through the shooters eyes. RPG (Role-playing games)
RPG games are popular and have been for a long time. You can either play as a single player or in a group. The most popular games are Diablo, Elder Scrolls and World of Warcraft, to name a few. You play as a character and do a whole range of missions, and adventures or have a look around the scenery of the game. Puzzle
There are so many puzzle games out there, from Candy Crush on phones, to Angry birds. These are more popular on devices such as phones, tablets.
Generally puzzle games consist of games that you have to work out things such as finding hidden objects, strategy such as Minesweeper and even those games where you match objects in order to gain coins, points or something else.
This is a great way to improve your speed and accuracy before you get into shooter style games.
Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO)
A very popular type of game, most people will have at one point, played this type of game. These are the types of games where many people play at the same time online, usually games such as World of Warcraft, The elder scrolls online and Diablo 3 classes.
Simulations
Simulation games are quite popular and can also use other equipment such as steering wheels to give you a more realistic gaming experience. From driving tanks to aeroplanes, there is likely a type of simulation game you would like.
Adventure
Another popular type of game, these games take you on an exciting adventure. You can find games from popular TV shows and films such as The Walking dead, or The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes. There will be one for you!
