Safa Cleansing Milk
As well as the Safa Moisturiser I was sent their Safa cleansing milk too.
I have actually been looking for a cleansing milk I can use without water, some days I struggle standing for long periods or when I am completely exhausted, I want a quick and easy cleansing routine.
Straight away I tried this, I could not wait.
Safa Cleansing Milk
Firstly here is more about the product:
Contains a blend of Sweet Almond (Prunus amygdalus dulcis) and Rosehip oil (Rosa rubiginosa) that professionals recommend for people with acne and can be used as an ‘anti-wrinkle formula’. This blend is found to allow regeneration and restoration of facial skin cells, due to its antioxidant levels when combined.
I was very excited when I was approached just because I love organic skincare.
This company is amazing, if you read their ethics and check out their badges on the products.
Halal approved, Soil association approved, vegan, no animal testing and dermatologically tested.
It is also wheat and gluten free.
What more could you want from a cleanser?
So the packaging is the same as the moisturiser.
Clean, crisp, natural and easy on the eye.
The bottle is again the same shaped bottle, easy to use, squeeze and hold.
White bottle again with a green flip-top lid.
The cleanser is slightly thicker than a milk which means it is super easy to apply to the face.
It just glides over the skin so well.
The scent is so natural, pure and very light, you can barely detect a scent.
That is a sign of a really good natural product.
I can detect a hint of rosehip and calendula. Gives it a beautifully soft and calming scent.
I always leave cleansers to soak in for a few minutes then start to take it off.
I have used it 2 ways.
I have used a damp facial cloth, hot and cool then used it with cotton wool pads and just wiped off.
Using this to take make up off also was quite surprising. I usually use heavy duty cleansers when I wear make up as I use waterproof mascara so I did expect some of the product to be left on my eye area.
I was so wrong.
I left it to soak on my eye area for a couple of minutes then wiped away, off came my make up too.
Could not believe it, my stubborn mascara came off.
It did take a couple of goes to get everything completely off, but it was gone, every single bit of my make up!
Once I had cleansed my skin, my skin did not feel tight, I could have happily left my skin without a moisturiser as the cleanser did actually moisturise somewhat.
If I was in a rush, I could happily pop out without a moisturiser on and know I would be good for a few hours.
After 1 week of use, my skin looked cleaner than it has in a while, coupled with a cleansing brush, all my pores were cleansed and smaller.
It shrunk my pores!!
Redness I usually get from cleansing never appeared.
It was so gentle, I even used it when my skin was suffering, red, irritated from foundation and this calmed my skin right down, along with the moisturiser the irritation was gone the next day.
You don’t need a lot to get a good cleanse, less is more with this product so it does last you a while.
I have been using it now for over 6 weeks and I am only half way through.
A beautiful all round cleanser that is gentle, doesn’t clog the skin and leaves skin clear and beautifully soft.
Wonderful products and they truly are amazing.
