Simple Home Made Storage Drawers

I have been thinking about making my own simple, home made storage drawers.

I really like the acrylic storage drawers but I found they are either expensive, not the right size or not what I want them to look like

So I have been looking for other ways to make storage as my office is rather cluttered.

The first way I decided to make my drawers was from beauty boxes I have.

I have quite a lot of Libbie Club boxes so I wanted to make use of these and turn them into a set of drawers.
They are the right size to make a 4 tier drawer set that I can either use on my desk for storage of pens, lip balms and various other little things or use them on my side table and pop all my skincare in.

The second way was to buy some coloured acrylic and make my own drawers.

The ones I have seen are clear, but I would like some lovely colours like pink or purple.

I had a look on Simply Plastics and found some gorgeous coloured acrylic that will do the job perfectly.

The third way was to buy some thick cardboard and cover in pretty paper, then make it into my own drawers.

You can have them in any form of print, from Marvel to Care Bears, flowers to funky patterns. This way the decorative option is your own.

You can make your own knobs and decorate with diamante. You can have pearls, ribbons or even bones and coins for a pirate feel.

Each of the above ways are cost effective but time consuming. But this way you can have the self satisfaction that you done it yourself.
