New House, New Garage

Well, house hunting is taking it’s toll on me. The one thing I am struggling with is the garage malarky…

So I have been looking specifically at houses with a garage, however all the roller shutters or doors are in need of replacing, they must be ancient.

I know, the last thing on your mind is doors to a garage, but a garage to us is storage for a lot of things.

So choosing the right garage doors is hard work, I wouldn’t have a clue where to start.

Some companies like Prestige Doors offer advise and recommendations on the perfect door for your garage.

I spoke to a few, when looking at houses and asked what to look for and how to decide.

I mean, do you want a roller shutter or doors? How do you want them to open and close? Automatic or DIY?
Then there is colour. what colour looks right? Will it last? Is there a guarantee and warranty?

WHAT IF IT BREAKS?!

Do I let my other half put his car in there? Storage? Ooh a big office and storage for me? I visualised an office. Yes, my own personal office (I have one, but a box room…) Those alexa drawers *drool*

Okay, I spent far too much time contemplating garages when I should be more bothered about the house… right?
