My Summer Affirmations – Plus 3 Tips For Creating Your Own
I wanted to write about My Summer Affirmations and how important it is to create your own summer affirmations so I am also going to delve into that too!
I’m very holistic and believe in the universe and how you can change your mindset and outcome in life by using affirmations, so they have a strong importance in my life.
Now, I am disabled and I use a positive mindset to overcome a lot that I have to deal with. Whether it is being knocked back in life because I am not able to do physical things or doing the things I wanted to, like nursing. But then I changed my mindset to ‘I can do’ and started on another path with helping people. This is why I have my summer affirmations.
Instead, I created a business in many different areas that focus on healing people, helping people and making things they enjoy. I don’t let my disabilities hold me back and use them for a benefit.
So I can’t go out into the world and do what I initially wanted, so I created this perfect life at home where I do most of it online. Being more positive and finding that thing that makes me get out of bed every morning has really helped me along the way.
Changing your life in a positive way will always be a benefit to you and I wanted to share that changing your outlook to see the positives will help guide you towards the goals you have set in life. Be prepared for a journey, because it is amazing!
There are many things that can give you a boost, having people around you or even finding a date if you are single. Sharing time with people whether online or face to face will be a huge benefit to your self-esteem.
My Summer Affirmations
My Summer affirmations this year are to strengthen myself, stop overthinking and to ground myself more.
I want a successful business and have a lot of work to do, so keeping myself motivated is going to be the number one priority here! Motivation and strength are my core needs.
Another is to love myself more! I feel I don’t praise myself as much as I should so my summer affirmations are going to be composed of this.
Practising self-care and self-love every day, just 5 minutes of your time being you and enjoying yourself, in a comfortable space with things around you that bring you joy and comfort.
Do things like having a relaxing bath, meditating for a period of time or enjoying a hobby or doing something that you like is a great way to relax and take things off your mind.
An affirmation is a statement you repeast to yourself at times when you need it, to remind you of your goal, or that you have strength and courage. Maybe you use an affirmation just to be kinder to yourself.
Sometimes I repeat my affirmations when I am doing yoga or meditating. Stretching out or just sat still having a coffee. I usually pop on my diffuser and allow Aromatherapy to calm and ground me.
Remind yourself daily that you are an incredible person, you are loved and you are strong. You got this!
3 Tips For Creating Your Own Affirmations
Decide What Is Important
The most important aspect is deciding what is important to you and where your focus will be. This will set the outline for your affirmations and you can list in importance, those that are at the top can have more time spent on them, with more focus on the outcome.
Then, you can go down your list and focus on new things that are going to be important to you, one after the other.
An example would be dealing with something happening in your life right now. Do you have to move house in a short time frame? Use this to avoid a stressful house move. Then this would be at the top and you can focus your intentions on moving and allowing you to create your affirmations surrpinding this.
If you are single for example and thinking about looking into disabled singles dating then next you can consider your affirmations and intentions for this, it’s time to get spending time with someone you like. Keep repreating before you meet that you can do this, you are amazing and you will have a wonderful date!
This will help you with your date and help you lessen the nerves and tension. Even say it just before you meet!
At the bottom would be things like wishing for something you like, maybe something simple like a cake coming out perfect when cooking.
What are Your Goals
Goals are things we all should have at some point. Whether it is related to work, love or life, you want to make sure you are setting realistic and achievable goals.
Set your goals and give yourself a timeline where you can achieve this. Don’t stress yourself out as the whole point of affirmations is to make things easier and simple, so get your goals set first, realistically.
Now you can set your affirmations. What affirmations can you use to get to your goal? Something simple you can repeat every morning maybe? Something like ‘I am focused, today will be great’ and say it a few times as you drink your morning tipple.
Before you go to bed, go over your day, focus on what you are doing tomorrow, what you need to achieve and then focus your nightly affirmation on this too.
Things you can try is how to make better dietry choices and sticking with it,
What Is Your Outcome?
We all have an end goal, whether it’s having a successful business, loving ourselves or strengthening relationships with other people.
You can set your affirmations to achieve your outcome! Each morning, remind yourself you are strong, fabulous and you can do this.
I start my morning with a coffee and an affirmation. Sometimes I will write them down, other times I will just repeat them as neccessary.
Focusing my energy on the good things in life, this will set me up for the day and put me on course.
Final Thoughts
Affirmations are great tools to give you confidence for the day or the task ahead of you.
Whatever you have in mind, say it. Give yourself a bit of a pep talk, sometimes we need to just remind ourselves how amazing we are!
Have you tried affirmations before, how did you get on?

I love your affirmations! I have different ones I use for different times of the day as well as different purposes. They really do help to change the entire course of your day. I also speak affirmations into my water before I drink it. Water has memory and holds onto the emotions. Love your blog 🙂
