Finding The Right Jewellery You Connect With – Tips For Finding Statement Jewellery Pieces

I love jewellery that I feel a connection with. Maybe it has a gemstone that is calling me. Finding the right jewellery you connect with can be easy if you are seeing it face to face, or a little harder when buying online. I tend to look for pieces I feel an automatic attachment to and usually have something in mind before I start searching.

I’ve felt it is right to talk about my purchasing techniques when buying jewellery and also share a few statement pieces I found along the way that really speaks to me and why I wear them daily.

Finding The Right Jewellery You Connect With

When I am looking for jewellery, usually I have something in mind. For example, recently I had been looking for a ring with amber in it. So I had a starting point to work with and could then use search terms to try and locate something I would like.

Price is a factor, I usually have a minimum and maximum amount in mind for the jewellery I am looking for. But sometimes I am willing to pay a little more if it is the right jewellery for me.

Here are some precious pieces that I wear all the time and why I chose them.

Silver Amethyst and Diamond Trilogy Ring

I keep the number of rings limited, I wear my engagement ring and a silver amethyst and diamond trilogy ring.

This ring stood out to me a few years ago, I was looking for a ring that I could wear every day without getting in the way.

Amethyst is my birth gemstone and also my favourite gemstone. I have pieces of amethyst around my house and do really love beautiful jewellery with it,

Silver pentacle necklace

Silver Pentacle

The small silver pentacle has been attached to me for the last 2 years. I came across this whilst looking for something small and silver. I only tend to wear silver pieces.

It also came with a chain, but admittedly, this has since snapped and I swapped for a more durable chain. I prefer twist style necklaces so replaced them with a little thicker one and wear it all the time.

This is a beautiful delicate necklace and represents a part of my journey. It’s also commonly worn for protection.

You can buy beautiful chain necklaces that match your outfit or your mood.

Lapis Healing Huggie Hoops Earrings

I love wearing earrings. I have a large collection but I prefer to wear hoops more than anything.

One pair that I wear all the time is the Daisy London Lapis Healing Huggie Hoop earrings.

I wear a mix of silver and gold earrings and do change them quite frequently. But the one pair I wear all the time is the huggie hoops. I’ve got my ears pierced 3x on each side so can change them as needed.

Custom Charm Bracelet

I created a custom charm bracelet by firstly buying a silver bracelet that is strong enough to hold many charms.

Then I went on the hunt to find beautiful sterling silver charms to add to my bracelet. They all have clasps, so they can clip onto my bracelet. This means I can replace or add more as needed.

The first charm I bought is a fairy. I have a very long-standing relationship with the fae and felt this would fit perfectly on my bracelet. Next is a charm with a 90’s style Moon and Sun on. This reminds me of my Mum.

I found a 4 leaf clover, going to my Irish roots. 2 charms that match, a star and a heart. A heart with a keyhole and a key that goes with it. A small pentacle because that is a part of my beliefs. Hummingbird, they are beautiful and feel it relates to me. An anchor to remind me of home.

Finally, a small amethyst and rose quartz charms. Last but not least, a spoon. The spoon was sent with an order of jewellery, but spoons are very important to me because of my chronic illnesses,

As I find more charms, I will be adding them to my beautiful charm bracelet.

Final Thoughts

Finding the right jewellery you connect with is I’m[portant to have a statement or long-standing pieces you keep on you at all times. You can feel secure that they are on and you never take them off.

Many just have simple pieces, whilst others have quite a large statement piece of jewellery.

For me, they are simple but beautiful. Plenty of meaning.

Do you have a statement piece? What piece of jewellery do you wear permanently?
