Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream Review

I’ve used Dr Hauschka for years now since I came across a hand care kit that I absolutely loved and since then, I have used the products frequently, including the Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream which I am doing a hand cream review on.

Dr Hauschka is an award-winning natural brand that creates natural products since 1935 and is a well known trusted brand. Everything they create infuses the beauty of plants and their powerful properties to cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin! So I thought it would really highlight the brand by doing a Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream Review.

It’s always great to try a new hand cream and I always try and get a new one every time I find I am running low. My hand cream stash is very large but when I use a few, I add a few more and that way, I can try a few different ways to ease the dryness on my hands.

About the Dr Hauschka hand cream

The Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream is a natural based hand care product for ageing and dry hands.

Softening and smoothing the skin that leaves your skin supple, smooth and nourished whilst providing long-lasting and immediate protection against the elements and daily life.

A mix of olive and avocado oils, along with beautiful and rich cocoa butter as well as including plant extracts such as including red clover, kalanchoe and quince seed.

This wonderful mix of oils and extracts provides a nourishing and moisturising base with protection and balancing the hydration in your skin.

With also some renewal benefits thrown in there which helps for ageing hands.

Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream packaging and ease of use

What I really love about the Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream is the packaging and how easy it is to use!

It comes in a cardboard box and inside this nestles a plastic cylindrical tube.

Sometimes, I prefer other types of packaging that are not the squeezy tubes that can be messy or hard to get out.

Now, the Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream packaging is a cylindrical tube and has a wonderful pump system for easy dispensation of the product.

The packaging is in white with bronze and silver detail across the tube. It’s really sleek and beautiful.

The top comes off easily enough however you won’t lose this if you put it in your bag, which is good to know that your product is safe during transportation.

Inside is quite a large pump that you can press down easily, one pump is enough for my small hands, 2 pumps for larger hands.

Overall, easy, protective and looks nice on your deck, in your bedroom or to pull out during an outing!

Review of the Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream

I have to say that one pump of the Dr Hauschka Regernating Hand Cream will be enough to cover both of your hands, so the tube will last a good while even with regular use.

The scent is the first thing I notice, is the scent and how beautiful it is! A mix of rose and geranium, it gives such a soothing and subtle scent that leaves you feeling relaxed and calm.

It has a cream colour and is a medium-thick consistency. There is no oiliness to the hand cream and absorbs really quickly, I would say within about 5 minutes maximum.

Instantly, my skin felt less tight and dryness is zapped away. My hands before using it were dry and you could see the dryness really badly on my hands. After one use, this was gone until I washed my hands again and needed to apply the hand cream again.

After 4 days of using the Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream, I noticed my hands were no longer tight and the dryness after washing my hands had stopped. I hadn’t changed my hand wash in this time, so I was glad to see why it was working so well.

The texture of my skin started to look less papery after 2 weeks and started to look plumper and less frail. My hands do look aged because of dehydration and health conditions so it was wonderful to see the difference in my hands and how they started to look more my age rather than older.

It was embarrassing how papery they looked and by 4 weeks, they looked perfect! I couldn’t believe how dehydration looked on my hands and how they aged 20 years or so just by one thing, not keeping my hands moisturised properly and also increasing my water intake.

Overall, I was super impressed with the overall condition of my hands after a month and continued to use it throughout. It’s really good especially for night as it has overnight to really work on your skin.

I’m certainly considering more products by Dr Hauschka and will be road testing them too!
