Choosing The Right TV Package

Most of us use online services to watch TV but sometimes we may fancy a TV package to watch as a family or alone. Sometimes I still like to watch TV and at the moment, I don’t have a TV package so I am looking at choosing the right TV package for me.

I looked at the top services we currently have and compared prices, but as well as comparing the prices I had to compare what you get with each package they have on offer.

Have you ever wondered what the statistics were for cable TV? Well you can check out the cable tv statistics here. I was pretty blown away myself if I am honest. I’ve often wondered what people were watching, what channels are better and which option would be best for me and my family.

As I have children, obviously I needed to look for the services which include children’s programs such as Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.

Also learning channels are a must, even history and geography channels that can help the children with school work or things they are currently learning.

Of course I needed the entertainment channels that show more the American TV shows that I love so much. Some offer box sets which would be more preferred as I can watch the entire series instead of catching the odd season like on Netflix or Amazon.

Although cost is a big factor, I needed to ensure that we have all the channels that we need.

I also considered to look for anything wireless as I prefer wireless rather than plugged in to the router. But this is a little harder as they do mostly need plugging directly into the router.

Sport channels can be costly so I did look into more specific deals that offer this at a discount for the full term of the contract. Rather than 1 month free.

Overall, this would be more cost effective for me.

Another factor to think of is down time, for example one company I was with constantly had issues maintaining an internet connection so I wanted to avoid somewhere with common issues.

As I work from home, I need to ensure I have a reliable and stable internet connection. I do currently get this, however the TV channels are super expensive and there is a lot missing in comparison to others. Even with the freeview, it is limited.

It’s very stressful trying to get the right TV channels for me and my family whilst ensuring that I am also receiving the best internet connection possible.
