I Am A Witch
I guess I really kept this from my blog for a very long time, but recently I opened up about being a witch on my other blog where I talk about it in detail.
It was so much fun coming out of the broom closet and the reception I received was not what I expected.
Not one person had said anything about this in a negative way. It was mainly positive and curiosity.
The comments I had received were so welcoming, although some have asked how to get into witchcraft which gave me a reason to write more!
Now I guess this is me coming out on my blog too!
Family knew sort of, some hadn’t realised as I had kept it a really good secret.
However over time, it started to show more as I was more open than usual.
I guess it helps living int he UK and that people are more curious rather than afraid. Every day I see people share things about gemstones and healing, using incense and even interested in tarot cards which is fantastic!
Now, I have done a couple of readings on others, but generally I save it for myself.
Many asked if I was going to start reading professionally, but right now I am happy to keep it for me and those close to me. Maybe one day when I have more time for myself.
I am a witch! So what do I do exactly?
Well, mostly I make my own things like bath salts and essential oils, healing oils and little witchy bottles for protection and love.
I don’t sell items, I gift them to family and friends.
Usually I read tarot cards most days, it’s fun and I like to see what the cards have in store for me.
One question I see often is ‘Are you a Satanist?’ Well, no. I don’t believe in religion, in any form. I am not Wiccan, nor relate to any other preferred religion. So if I don’t believe in a God, then of course I don’t believe in Satan.
You can see more misconceptions of being a witch and highlighting some things that not many people know!
All in all, it;s pretty fun but my post linked above goes into more detail about me coming out of the broom closet!
