Exploring The World Of BDSM And Being Safe
In the alternative culture, it is very commonplace for people to exploring the world of BDSM.
You may find that at least one person you know is secretly, or even openly into BDSM. So I am going to explore this further, explain what it is and maybe this is something that interests you. Before you continue to read, you can take a brief look at this School of Squirt’s page to get an idea on what BDSM is all about.
Maybe you will be more understanding of someone close to you that interested in BDSM? Who knows?
What is BDSM?
BDSM in short stands for Bondage/Discipline, Dominance/Submission, and Sadism/Masochism. Interestingly, BDSM is called alphabet circle (zimuquan) in mainland China and can be known as many other terms across the world.
A lot of people will think of BDSM as 50 shades of Grey or even torture but it’s really not. There is such a diverse range of things within the BDSM realms which I will not outline all due to the nature, but some harmless things are:
You may find you may play into BDSM without knowing, such as roleplaying with your partner or lightly using dominance with your partner, or even them dominating you.
It’s so fun to explore new things in the bedroom and worth talking to your partner and find out both of your deepest desires.
Why not look into dating sites such as My BDSM hookups and see what is out there.
Exploring The World Of BDSM
The first thing I always mention with BDSM is have a code word for stop. You can use stop, or something that is unrelatable as your stop word. Some people even use the traffic light system, green for fine, amber for feeling slightly uncomfortable and of course red for stop.
Make sure to maintain open communication with your partner throughout any experience, including discussions afterward. Explore feelings and reflections together. Did the encounter bring satisfaction to both of you? Are you both comfortable with the experience? Would you be open to trying it again? This applies not only to intimate moments but also extends to various aspects of relationships, including exploring websites like anonse bdsm.
From there you can be certain to find things to spice up your play time.
Maybe start introducing toys into the bedroom and have a little play. From there you can work up the courage to adventure more into other things.
Be completely open and honest, if something is suggested and you are not comfortable about it, certainly speak up about it.
If you are single, my not look into bdsm dates and see if you can find someone with similar likes and dislikes.
Be Safe
Importantly, ensure you are being safe with exploring the world of BDSM. Make sure if you meet someone, you are telling someone else where you are at all times.
If you are not quite comfortable, take someone with you.
Always make sure you set your limits with your partner, both discussing what is an absolute no. Sharing your experiences after makes sure that you are both confident and comfortable.
Should you decide to meet up for a hook up, please make sure that you speak in length prior, outline what is good, what is a no. Just make sure you are both on the same page.
Communication is key here, I can’t stress this enough. Be mindful your partner may not have the same interests so it’s good to be open and explore, but remember you both have boundaries.
My final thoughts are, be safe, have fun and explore.
