Having eczema issues with my 1 year old has become a pain, so when I got the chance to try Salcura Bioskin Junior, I was thrilled.

Finally, a natural skincare I could use on my little dude and hopefully fight this awful condition he has.

I received 3 products, the Daily Nourishing Spray, Outbreak Rescue Cream and the Bathtime Bath Milk.

The first thing I did when we got them was run a lovely bath for my little one.
He had been scratching one part of his eczema so we just had to try.

The bath milk comes in a cute box and inside the cute box is a lovely bottle which is quite big.

You only need a capful or 2 of the bath milk however I used a little more (possibly more than needed) when his skin was really bad.

It turns the bath milky and there is a slight foam which doesn’t last very long.

The scent is beautiful, it’s very weak but it’s all natural. Like essential oils but not as strong.
It is a really natural spring like scent and I love it.

You can smell the lavender and chamomile so this is just perfect for bed time too as it is great for relaxing the little one before bed.

It doesn’t leave any residue behind in the bath or on my little dude.
I noticed when I took him out of the bath, his eczema looked a lot less inflamed and didn’t seem itchy to him.

The milk it’self is white and has a thin-medium consistency, easy to pour out and doesn’t make a mess.

It’s completely free from steroids, parabens, peroxide, alcohol, hormones and such like, so you know you are getting a good deal here.
Just as good, it’s not tested on animals!
So it is friendly for everyone!

Once I towel dried him gently, I then used the daily nourishing spray.

Again comes in a really nice looking box and inside is a generous sized spray bottle.

It’s very easy to spray all over my little one, even when wriggling around.
It has a nice fine spray mist and it’s direct so you don’t cover everything in spray which I admittedly have done with other products.

The liquid is quite thin so one squirt is all you need to cover one area like the lower leg, one for upper and 2-3 on torso and same for back.

It has a milky clear colour to the liquid.

I gave a quick massage into the skin and it had instantly absorbed.

It left my son’s skin so soft, his dry parts were instantly nourished and not as rough as they were before bath time.

He didn’t seem to mind me spraying him and it did not go into his mouth, something you worry about when spraying anything on your little ones.

It isn’t greasy or oily, it is quite like a slightly thicker water but I was so impressed at how fast it had absorbed.

The scent is really nice too, the lavender combined with rosemary and sea buckthorn makes a gorgeous natural subtle scent that is soothing for my little one.
I love scents like this, natural aromatherapy like scents.
They have loads of properties and they are very good healers.

Finally on the worst places I popped on some of the Outbreak Rescue Cream.

Now this I have to admit is my favourite.

It comes again in a cute box, I love the packaging!

This was a small tube and I will be honest, I have used it all nearly (Oopsie, maybe I went a bit overboard?) but saying that, we are now eczema free! I will explain further down,.

So it was easy to squeeze out and was a creamy gold colour and the scent, wow the scent… It’s fresh, it’s clean, it’s natural!
It is like walking through a garden in spring, the smell of fresh flowers, grass… Oh it’s heavenly!

So this is a thicker balm, it’s so easy to massage into the skin and again it is absorbed within a couple of minutes leaving nice, soft skin with no product residue.

I hate product residue, it gets everywhere. All over clothes and bedding and it can be a pain to wash.

I was so happy with this as instantly, the driest patches were instantly nourished, skin moisturised and seemed to ease all the itching that was bothering my little dude.

By the next morning this had reduced the redness of the eczema and stopped it looking so angry and scary!

So I started a little routine and this routine has worked so well.

Every 3 nights I would bath my little dude with the bath milk and smother him in nourishing spray and then the worst of the eczema in the outbreak rescue cream.

Every morning I would apply the outbreak cream on the worst of it.

Every night I would spray on the nourishing spray and again cover worst of the eczema in the outbreak cream.

After one week of trying this, I am not kidding, the redness had subsided so much it was light pink instead of bright pink.

The dryness was nowhere near as bad. His overall dryness had completely gone and the patches of eczema were a lot softer.

He wasn’t suffering with it either, it didn’t seem to bother him and his skin looked so lovely.

After 2 weeks there was not a spot of it in sight.

His skin was baby soft, completely clear and I can happily say since we have carried on the routine, it has not come back like it does when we stop a product.

He had one flair up when he came down with a cold and after a couple of days of extra outbreak cream, it vanished again.

So the reason I use the spray at night is because it really does work on helping him sleep.

The bath milk too helps him sleep much better and touch wood, since we started this routine, he has actually slept through without the usual whinge at night we get.
He drops off to sleep quicker and it’s not taking us an hour to get him to lie down.

I very rarely say this but this is something I am going to keep up and make sure we are stocked up on.

I will be buying the bigger Outbreak Relief Cream if I am honest and I also want to try the shampoo and facial and body wash next, so they are on my list.
