Every month I am sent a beauty box to review from The Libbie Club. This month I was sent some beauties that include Nude, Ciate and The Hero Project.
So the products this month are a gorgeous Ciate nail polish in Mistress Red, a wonderful skincare duo from Nude including ProGenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil and the ProGenius Omega Treatment Milk. Then finally The Hero Project with their Hyasoft serum.
I am glad of a skincare focused box this month with a gorgeous nail polish in one of my favourite shades and brands.
Shall we have a peek at what is inside then and get talking about the products individually.
Nude Double Dose of Genius
Now firstly I have to say these are what I would consider sample sizes, even though they are small, they do last a while as you only need a small amount for application.
The first product I tried was the ProGenius Omega Treatment Oil.
Now this oil I really did love, I used 3 drops and this covered my whole face, absorbed rapidly and left no oily residue which I was impressed with.
It has a dark amber colour to the oil and it smells so wonderful, I can smell the rosemary but smells like fresh rosemary. Reminds me of a flowering garden in bloom. Natural and relaxing.
With one use my skin was really soft and smooth, also skin looked more plump in the morning and still felt soft and smooth. The dryness sometimes comes back over night but did not.
My skin was super hydrated using this oil and I enjoyed using it.
After a week of use my skin was completely hydrated and smooth, the redness I get had gone and I started to look more alive.
This is a very powerful oil and lasts ages, considering you only need a little each day.
I also used the Pro Genius Omega Treatment Milk.
This is not as thin as you expect a milk to be, this was a little thicker however it’s just as light and super absorbing.
Again the scent is similar to the oil, light, refreshing and also relaxing.
This product really does hydrate my skin so well and leaves it plumper and more radiant.
It’s super absorbent and like the oil, does not leave any residue on my skin at all.
Ciate Nail Polish in Red Mistress
I am in love with this polish, it is my perfect red and although it does need 2 coats (Nearly all polish does) it does look good, lasts and does not fade.
It’s very easy to apply and dries in a couple of minutes which is great as I usually do my nails last minute and end up smudging it or catching it so have marks left, however with this I did not.
Chips around day 3-4 which is good for a polish and up to a week when I use a top coat.
Stays glossy and the colour does not fade either which is important for me.
I noticed as well that it did not stain my nails, sometimes reds can stain a little but this one did not.
It’s a great bottle, I like the Ciate shaped bottles as they are easier to hold and apply. For me personally anyway.
The Hero Project Hyasoft Instant Moisture Boost
I have never heard of The Hero Project before so was excited to try a new brand I had not heard of.
You know me, I love a new brand, I am like a magpie, I need it like yesterday!
So this serum, well it is nothing like I have tried before.
This is completely new to me having a serum that performs like a moisturiser that I would happily use alone for a light cover.
It has no scent to be fair, I could not detect anything really.
It feels silky to the touch and massages into the skin so well. I found it absorbed in a couple of minutes and left no residue which is important to me. I hate the feeling of something on my skin when it’s heavy and leaves a residue but this did not.
Straight away my skin was supr soft and smooth, I was actually impressed how well this worked so fast.
Once washed off and cleaned skin, my skin was still soft as before so it wasn’t like the product was left on my skin which gave this effect, it actually did work. (Some products can make you feel like your skin is dead smooth, once washed off it’s normal, it like gives the appearance if you know what I mean)
It’s so good at battling my redness and the appearance of my skin was balanced, there was no red patches or greyness. It had all gone.
I am very impressed and I am looking at the rest of the range to see what else they have to offer.
